The year 2012 marks the beginning of Manntra. Their hit single "Kiša" (Rain) earned them an underground cult status, and the band immediately hit the road in order to promote their upcoming debut album. Helped by an indie label, Manntra released the "Horizont" album and went on the tour throughout the 2013 year. In 2014 the band stepped up their game and released the "Venera" album, this time backed by Croatia Records. Singles like "Vila" and "Mornar" (Mariner) won the airtime and the hearts of wide audience. The tours in Croatian cult clubs and known venues were filled with numerous fans or sold out.
After getting the feeling that almost everything that could be achieved in Croatia with Metal music was done, the invitation from Michael Rhein of In Extremo to play on their 20th anniversary concert moved Manntra’s career into a new direction. The collaboration with Michael and In Extremo evolved into friendship and it resulted in opening the selected shows on the In Extremo’s Quid Pro Quo Tour, filling in as the replacement for the German band Hämatom (Zürich, Wiesbaden and Stuttgart). Later on they joined again In Extremo on selected shows during their BurgenTour in 2017 and again in 2018. By this time they had released another album called "Meridian" and the tour started by playing a headline gig in a packed club (Opera Concert Club) in St. Petersburg (Russia).
With the three albums (Horizont, Venera, Meridian – paralleled with a number of singles – videos) all in Croatian language, Manntra managed to perform magnificent gigs, festivals, tour dates and earn themselves great fans home and abroad. The latter also formed the official German Manntra Fan Club and the official Russian Fan Club. The 2018 tour finale was crowned with performing at the Wacken Open Air and the main stage of the RockHarz Open Air festivals! The whole unfolding of events pushed Manntra toward the creation of their first album in English language. Some kind of a debut album that is ready to be released in 2019 via NoCut Entertainment (SPV).
